A graduate of ECC and Canisius College, Larry is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Tax Resolution Specialist, IRS Enrolled Agent, and National Tax Practice Institute Fellow.

Larry is also the National Director of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers a nationwide, non-profit, professional association with 1,200 members throughout the country. Through ASTPS Larry has taught and consulted with thousands of tax and accounting professionals from across the country. Right here in Western New York Larry has represented thousands of taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and NYS since 1973.

A graduate of Canisius College, John is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Tax Resolution Specialist, and Director of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS).

John is the CEO of Lawler & Witkowski, CPAs, PC, the firm he joined in 1978. John has represented thousands of taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.

LG Brooks, EA, CTRS, NTPI Fellow

LG Brooks is the newest addition to the Lawler & Witkowski team and is currently managing our Dallas Office. He is a nationally recognized tax resolution expert and speaker. He brings to the firm over 25 years of experience and has represented thousands of taxpayers before the IRS.

LG received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bishop College at Dallas, Texas in 1977. He is a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI) and is currently a faculty member of the National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI) administered by NAEA.

Joseph V. Kocsis, Jr., EA, CTRS

Joe has been working as a tax professional for the past 25 years. He started his tax career with the IRS and became an EA in 1992. He is also a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist and has helped hundreds of taxpayers resolve their outstanding tax liabilities with the IRS and/or state taxing authorities. Joe has extensive experience in tax planning for both individuals and businesses. He is a member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS) and the Independent Association of Accountants.

Angelene Wierzbic, EA

Angelene Wierzbic, EA, CTRS

Angelene Wierzbic began her career at Lawler & Witkowski in October 2004 as a staff accountant. She has since earned the title of Senior Tax Technician and assists clients with whatever their needs may be. She has experience in Personal, Partnership, and Corporate taxes. She also assists with paperwork preparation and correspondence for tax problem resolution cases. She is currently in the process of studying for her Enrolled Agents exam.

Vicki Hermann, EA, CTRS

Vicki has been at Lawler & Witkowski since Fall 2020 and has over 20 years of tax and accounting experience. She is our third IRS Enrolled Agent and assists clients with whatever their needs may be including Personal, Partnership, and Corporate taxes.

Elizabeth Wildt, EA, CTRS

Liz started out as an intern at Lawler & Witkowski while she was finishing up school at Mercyhurst University. After graduating in 2020 she joined our team full time. Liz does a great deal of tax preparation and also assists with paperwork preparation and correspondence for tax problem resolution cases.
